Toyota leads the auto market

Toyota is, nowadays, one of the top selling brands in the world and the company is committed to continuous improvement in everything it does, along with breakthrough products for the future. Smart from every perspective, as the company likes to call itself, it still keeps the world’s leader title in matter of sold vehicles in 2013.

In 2013 Toyota has sold 9.98 million cars, which makes it the world's largest automaker. In 2012 they won the same title with selling 9.75 million cars. The company registered an increase in the sales figures, as it can be very easily noticed. General Motors delivered 9.71 million cars and won the second place. They were followed by Volkswagen which delivered 9.7 million units. Detailed results will be provided until March 13.

The initial prediction of Toyota was that they would sell more than 10 million cars in 2013, hoping to become the first company to beat the figure ever. For 2014, the Japanese are estimating to manufacture 10.32 million cars. The 2013 Toyota sales also include the Lexus, Scion, Daihatsu and Hino branded models. We still have a long way to see what the 2014 top will reveal.
