Volkswagen prepares the Golf R Evo concept

Volkswagen is one of the world’s top automobile manufacturers. During the economical crisis, VW is one of the few companies that increased the number of vehicles delivered to customers acquiring 12.8 percent share of the world passenger car market. The company has developed centers and services in the entire world and the owners that drive a VW are satisfied with the German product.

Volkswagen is currently working on the Volkswagen Golf R Evo concept. It will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that will be equipped with new cylinder heads, an improved induction system and some other upgrades. These modifications will reportedly allow the engine to generate approximately 370 bhp (276 kW) and 332 lb-ft (449 Nm) of torque, this meaning 74 bhp (55 kW) and 52 lb-ft (70 Nm)more than we were used to before.

The Volkswagen Golf R concept is supposed to feature stripped out interior and carbon fiber body panels. With these on, the car could weight less than 1,400 kg (3,086 lbs). The concept will have its official debut at the Beijing Motor Show and a production version is a true possibility. If this happens, the vehicle’s price will surely attract sport lovers.
