Subaru XV gets an update

Subaru, the manufacturing division of the Japanese company Fuji Heavy Industries, has slowly but precisely made a name on the world’s cars market.  It is internationally famous for using the so called ‘boxer’ engine in most of its vehicles above 1500 cc.  Rather conservatory, the company seems to have the desire to surprise the planet. The company has specially updated the Subaru XV crossover for the U.K. market.

The Subaru XV hasn’t suffered too many modifications. It will enter sales in U.K. very soon, this month and it promises to have lower levels of noise, vibration and harshness. The 2.0- liter gasoline engine comes with some new valve-train components which have the duty of reducing the engine noise. The vehicle also gets a few changes in the suspensions which have raised the ride quality.

The Subaru XV is equipped with an updated electronic power steering wheel that has improved feel and stability due to a dynamic damper system that reduces steering wheel and column vibrations. The front suspension lower-arm has been modified. It is now thicker. Around the A-pillar there are additional reinforcements to make the crossover safer. The cabin receives an instrument cluster gear shift indicator, silver surrounds for the heater and steering wheel buttons, together with glossy black switches for the AC system. Pricing begins at 21,995 GBP for the entry-level 2.0i SE model and can go up to 25,995 GBP for the range-topping 2.0D SE Premium trim.
