Skoda Octavia Scout gets ready for Geneva

Skoda cars are exceptional because of the clever little touches they’ve got.  The Czech manufacturer is a company that understands the small everyday challenges of life and a brand that makes competition between carmakers more interesting as it always comes up with new models or at least brings some updates to the older ones. The producer is preparing the Skoda Octavia Scout for the Geneva Motor Show that will take place in March.

The Skoda Octavia Scout is based on the Skoda Octavia Combi. The vehicle will feature black lower bumpers with silver inserts, a wide front air intake and black protective side mouldings. In addition, the Octavia Scout will have a 33mm increased ground clearance compared to the standard model. And this can mean only one thing: it is more appropriate for light off-road adventures.

The Skoda Octavia Scout is equipped with an all-wheel drive system with Haldex 5 coupling which will be linked to two diesel units and one gasoline engine most likely borrowed from the standard Octavia. The vehicle will ride on a set of bespoke 17-inch alloy wheels and will receive some updated fog lights together with a unique leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel. These are only a few preliminary details about the vehicle. More will be disclosed in a month.
