Bugatti prepares a special edition for Geneva

Bugatti has always been the maximum standard of exclusivity, luxury, elegance, style, extraordinary design, and a great passion for automobiles. Unique visions, the strong legacy of legendary sports cars, and high-precision engineering in development, construction, and manufacture distinguish this outstanding automotive brand. All the brand’s values have been set in the Bugatti Veyron, an aesthetic and engineering masterwork first introduced in 2005 and which is a match for contemporary racing cars. The brand will present at the long waited Geneva Motor Show a new special edition of the supercar.

According to some unofficial information, Bugatti will introduce the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Elisabeth Junek Edition in a couple of weeks in Geneva. This is just another part of a larger series of special editions dedicated to legends in the auto field. For those who are not familiar with the field, Elisabeth Junek was an important female racer in the 1920s. She was just a step away from winning the 1928 Targa Florio but because of a broken brake she didn’t manage to do it. Despite this, she came in fifth.

The rumours say that the super Bugatti will be inspired by a Type 35B so we can assume it will come in a blue exterior paint. Like all the vehicles in the series, this one will also be powered by an 8.0-liter W16 engine that develops 1,200 HP (882 kW) and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of torque. The engine will be linked to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which will allow the model to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 408.84 km/h (253 mph) with its roof down. But Geneva Motor Show will be the one confirming all these assumptions.
