Chevrolet SS planned with a six-speed manual transmission

Chevrolet is a brand of vehicles produced under General Motors mother-company. It was founded by Louis Chevrolet and General Motors founder William C. Durant on November 3, 1911 as the Chevrolet Motor Car Company. It was then bought by General Motors in 1918. Since then the name has expanded a lot, Chevrolet-branded cars being present in most automotive markets worldwide, with plenty of success. The new 2015 Chevrolet SS is currently available in one trim level with two options, but it is very likely that it will receive some new options for the brand lovers.

The 2015 Chevrolet SS is equipped with leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats and a Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system with GPS navigation. The car also has dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry and a Bose audio system. The only two options available up till now include a power sunroof and a full-size spare tire. It is more than probable that a six-speed manual transmission version will carry the same options.

The new Chevrolet SS featuring a six-speed manual transmission version will allow the vehicle to sprint the 0-60 mph in less than 4.6 seconds, helped, of course, by the 415 bhp (310 kW) power. The 2015 Chevrolet SS could also come with the company's magnetic ride control system.  This is supposed to improve the model's ride and handling features. If everything goes according to plans, the 2015 model might enter sales in the United States in summer.
