Maserati new models planned

Officially Alfieri Maserati was founded on 1 December 1914 in Bologna, Italy. Since then, Maserati has played a consistently important role in the history of sports car culture and its development. Nearly a century of activity has brought with it glorious achievements both on the road and the track as well as more challenging times, which have helped forge the company’s character and personality. Some of the most famous models are the Ghibli and Quattroporte. Maserati is planning to continue its success with a few new models.

Maserati will first introduce the Levante crossover that was previewed by the Kubang concept, introduced at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Among the engines powering the Levante we find a V6 which generates 350 PS (257 kW) and 425 PS (312 kW), a V8 outputting 560+ PS (412+ kW) and a diesel developing 250 PS (184 kW), 275 PS (202 kW) and 340 PS (250 kW). Besides the Levante, Maserati will also manufacture a new GranTurismo with rear-wheel drive and a V8 engine that generates 560+ PS (412+ kW). We’ll just have to wait and see what truly happens.
