Mazda MX-5 rendered

Anyone who is at least a little familiar with the auto world has heard about Theophilus Chin. He is the guy whose hobby is designing cool potential vehicles. What he manages to do on the computer is something amazing. The last of his works is a possible image of the new Mazda MX-5 which is greatly announced for this year.

The Mazda fans can’t wait for the new MX-5 model to be officially presented, sometime this year. Till then they just have to be satisfied with a few spy photos and some renders based on these. They’d better represent at least something of what is to be the new Mazda MX-5. The vehicle will most likely be characterized by the same Kodo design language that Mazda uses in order to offer a very attractive styling as seen in recent vehicles such as the 6 and 3, as well as the Hazumi concept.

Theophilus Chin offers us a very spectacular vehicle, a breathtaking one. The Mazda MX-5 will be smaller and lighter compared to the existing model. It will lose about 100 kg (220 lbs) and its center of gravity will be closer to ground. A more powerful engine will be moving the vehicle which is also going to be safer in case of collision. Until the long waited moment of reveal arrives we can dream of this picture that Mr. Chin has to offer.
