Koenigsegg Agera One:1 present at Goodwood Festival

The Swedish company Koenigsegg is focused only on performance. Every single detail of a Koenigsegg car is somehow related to the company’s continuing aim, to enhance vehicle performance. This is illustrated in everything they do. Everything is significant. Every aspect of the manufacturing process targets performance. A high performance vehicle is the Koenigsegg Agera One:1 which will be present at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place between 26th and 29th June and one of the stars of the competition will be the Koenigsegg Agera One:1. This is the first homologated production car in the world with one Megawatt of power and HP to weight ratio of 1:1. The supercar is powered by a 5.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8 aluminum engine developing 1,341 HP (986 kW) and 1,371 Nm (1,011 lb-ft) at 6,000RPM. The curb weight is exactly 1,341 kg (2,956 lbs). Power is sent to the wheels via a dual-clutch 7-speed gearbox. A bonus of this car is that it can work on regular gasoline, as well as on E85 biofuel, or even race fuel.

The Koenigsegg Agera One:1 features a braking system inspired from the Agera R, a very sophisticated suspension system with active shock absorbers, a set of huge alloys wrapped in Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubbers provided by Michelin. The wheels are stopped by 397mm front power-assisted ventilated ceramic discs with 6-piston calipers at the front and 380mm with 4-piston calipers at the rear. Only six units will be manufactured of this amazing vehicle and all of them already have an owner.
