Acura is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company's North American–based subsidiary American Honda Motor Company. The brand has been available in the United States and Canada since March 1986, marketing luxury, performance, and high-performance vehicles. Since then it has gained a lot of terrain in the auto field, having some awesome vehicles. One of them is the Acura ILX which will enter sales tomorrow in the U.S.A.

The Acura ILX is available in four trim levels that offer different blends of performance and premium features. The vehicle is characterized by refinement and quality in a sleek, sporty and luxurious package. The entry level model is priced at $27,050. As standard options, the vehicle is equipped with a set of 17 inch alloy wheels, projector beam headlights, leather upholstery, heated front seats and 8-way power driver’s seat, a Keyless Access System with smart entry and push button start, a Multi-Angle Rearview Camera and Active Noise Cancellation. In addition, it also features a high quality sound system including XM Radio, USB port and AUX jack connectivity, Bluetooth Audio, Pandora interface, SMS text messaging feature, speed-sensitive volume control, 7 speakers with subwoofer and 360-watt amplifier.

The Acura ILX will come with two powertrain alternatives. There is a 2.0 liter i-VTEC developing 150HP (110 kW) connected to a 5-speed automatic gearbox (5AT), which is able to return 35 mpg US on the highway. This powertrain is available in standard trim, Technology Package or Premium Package. There is also a 2.4 liter i-VTEC generating 201HP (148 kW) linked to a 6-speed manual transmission which is available only with the Premium Package. It can return up to 31 mpg US on the highway.  So, if you decide to buy an ILX, you will have to pay between $27,050 and $29,350, depending on the version you choose.
