Jaguar Land Rover will build new division called Special Operations

The union between Jaguar and Land Rover seems to be managing everything very well. They have recently decided to create a new division in order to meet the expectations of the customers. This new division is called Special Operations and the idea came especially for the enthusiastic car customers. Under this new name, the carmakers will provide different new products and services. The specialists will showcase the best of both brands and this includes high performance derivatives, ultra luxury products and also limited run collector editions. We will also have the chance to see different heritage products and here we can include vehicle recreations, servicing and restorations and a lot more. By doing this merger, the two companies are trying to put their customers at the center of what they do. They had to invest a lot of money in the development of their products and services, but it was a mandatory move in order to reinforce the global reputation of both Land Rover and Jaguar as well. The team of expert designers and engineers from the new Special Operations will be led by Paul Newsome. He was actually recently recruited from Williams Advanced Engineering. The future plans of the team involve the development of halo vehicles which will be both very luxurious and also capable of really high performance. The new technical area where everything will take place is located in the West Midlands area of the UK, not far away from the current headquarters. Here, 150 dedicated and talented engineers will be able to show us what they can do.
