Dacia Duster planned for 2017

Dacia, the Romanian brand that belongs to the Renault Group, can offer the feeling of driving something different. The main target of the company is to transform sustainable mobility into something accessible to all the persons in the world. Dacia is one of the companies that defy the economical crisis and, more than that, whose sales have increased. The latest news indicate that the next generation Dacia Duster, sold under the Renault name in some markets, will be ready to go public in 2017.

The current generation Dacia Duster will still remain the base of the next generation SUV. And this can only mean one thing: that the same important features will still be a simple, yet functional, design language with details like the headlights, taillights, bootlid and grille, these last ones getting a significant facelift.  The new SUV will also receive some new safety features as well as a bigger range of trim levels. The news also says the vehicle will be distinguished by a more modern dashboard.

As the current Dacia Duster, the next one will most likely receive the same powering options, a 1.5-liter dCi diesel unit or the freshly introduced 1.2 Tce. The current generation of the SUV, a facelift one, too, was shown to the public last year in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The Romanian producer manufactured over one million Dusters in four years, so the model is a key in the success of the business.
