Peugeot RCZ heading for its second generation

Internationally famous with 60 million vehicles sold throughout the world, Peugeot has been combining excellence and emotion for over 200 years. Peugeot cars can be seen everywhere, so every possible market has to be satisfied.  This is exactly why Peugeot made public the intentions to introduce a second generation of the Peugeot RCZ. It seems that the newest member of the family has a lot of fans willing to invest money in a future generation vehicle.

Peugeot has already announced plans to reduce its lineup. By 2020 they will have only 26 models remaining on the market, from a total of 45 models currently available. Well, the Peugeot RCZ seems to be amongst the happy winners of the fleet, the ones that will remain to carry on and fight for the Peugeot spirit.  And if think about it, it’s not that of a big surprise to keep the RCZ alive. It is one of the most good- looking coupes on the market and it attracted plenty of clients despite the fact that it is at its first generation.

The Peugeot RCZ also came out in a few special editions and the manufacturer introduced its last facelift in 2012. The second generation is expected to arrive by 2016 on the EMP2 platform borrowed from the new 308 model. Peugeot will become a more premium brand targeting another segment of the automobile market and even a U.S. comeback is considered. Whether all these work according to the plan or not, we will see in a couple of years.
