Opel Corsa OPC digitally imagined

The auto world is one that attracts millions of fans and there is no doubt about this. Well, we might divide these fans into two categories, the ones who just admire the latest vehicles wondering and the ones who use their imagination to design the way next models could possibly look like. X-Tomi Design, as the name suggests, deals with designing cars. The guy has just imagined how a possible future Opel Corsa OPC could look like.

The Hungarian designer from X-Tomi Design has surely heard the news according to which Opel is working on a model that features a more aggressive front bumper with a refreshed radiator grille. In addition, a few days ago it was rumoured that the 2015 Corsa model will be released with the OPC treatment. Although nothing is certain yet, this hasn’t stopped the designer to digitally imagine the OPC version of the Corsa. The new sporty version could receive the 1.6-liter SIDI engine, the same found on the Cascada.  It should be powerful enough to battle the Renault Clio RS or the Ford Fiesta ST.

The new generation of the Opel Corsa was introduced a few days ago, although its official debut will take place at the Paris Motor Show on October 4. The car will be powered by a turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine generating 90 PS (66 kW) and 115 PS (84 kW), a turbocharged 1.4-liter producing 100 PS (73 kW) and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of torque and two naturally aspirated petrol units with displacements of a 1.2- and a 1.4-liters. A 1.3-liter CDTi diesel engine will also be offered. Well, if this OPC version is to become reality, we shall see.
