2015 Acura TLX manufactured in Ohio

Acura is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company's North American–based subsidiary American Honda Motor Company. The brand has been available in the United States and Canada since March 1986, marketing luxury, performance, and high-performance vehicles. Since then it has gained a lot of terrain in the auto field, having some awesome vehicles. One of them is the 2015 Acura TLX.

The 2015 Acura TLX has just entered production at the Marysville Auto Plant. The luxurious sedan is supposed to arrive to the US dealerships in August, so it’s not that long till we’ll get to see it running on the road. The vehicle was designed and developed by R&D teams in Ohio and Los Angeles. However, it has been exclusively manufactured in Ohio. TLX provides both the sports-sedan athleticism typical for Acura (Honda) and the luxury-sedan style. The sources powering the vehicle will be the 206 horsepower (151 kW) 2.4-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine and a 290 horsepower (213 kW) 3.5-liter SOHC V-6 unit. Both are manufactured locally.

The 206 horsepower (151 kW) 2.4-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine works linked to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (8DCT) with torque converter and the 290 horsepower (213 kW) 3.5-liter SOHC V-6 unit is linked to the nine-speed automatic transmission (9AT). There are also two next-generation Acura precision-handling technologies included: Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS) and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD).

The standard Acura TLX is equipped with LEDs at the front, rearview camera, Hill Start Assist and push button ignition. The customer will also benefit of a 7-inch infotainment system, heated and ventilated front seats, LED interior lighting, automatic climate control, 10-speaker 455-watt Acura ELS Premium Audio System. When it comes to safety the Acura includes Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control. On the whole we have a nicely equipped vehicle, with plenty of options, luxury being its middle name.
