Hyundai i20 sedan imagined

The Hyundai i20 is a supermini car produced by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai since 2008. The i20 made its debut at the Paris Motor Show in October 2008 and sits between the i10 and i30. It is a front-wheel drive car and is available in three and five-door versions. The latest generation of the model has been introduced a week ago. However, a sedan version is not available yet, but there’s someone who thought about this and imagined how a future i20 sedan version could look like. And you have one try to guess who this is. Theophilus Chin is the guy who created a digital version of the i20 sedan.

The latest Hyundai i20 version which has just been presented to the public is 4035mm long and comes with a wheelbase that has been stretched by 45mm to 2570mm. When the rear seats are used, the i20 offers a spacious 320-liter trunk, so a sedan version could offer around 400 liters of cargo space. Considering the fact that B-segment sedans are pretty popular in East Asia and South America a sedan variant is quite a good idea.

There are still no rumours about a Hyundai i20 sedan, but according to Mr. Chin it could be the perfect replacement for the Hyundai Accent/Solaris. The virtual project is based on the official press photos of the i20 and uses its original front end. On the back we find an extended tailgate with a new license plate niche. Well, for now, it looks nice in pictures.
