Mercedes-Benz A-Class will receive all body styles

Mercedes-Benz is known all over the world as an elegant and modern car manufacturer. The Mercedes branded vehicles are some of the most appreciated in all corners of the planet. Among the vehicles that constitute the Mercedes fleet we have the A-Class lineup. The first generation (W168) was introduced in 1997, the second generation model (W169) appeared in late 2004, and the all-new generation model W176 was launched in late 2012. In the markets that the A-Class is or has been sold in, it has represented the entry level model of Mercedes-Benz. And as we can easily notice, we’re heading to the fourth generation of the A-Class which is still about four years away from launch.

The Mercedes A-Class first came as a hatchback, but for the future generation the officials are also preparing sedan, coupe, roadster and shooting brake body styles. The vehicles will adopt a sportier appearance. The first one to see the light is the five door hatchback which will be introduced in 2018. It will quickly be followed by the sedan, and this one is a premiere, being the first sedan in the A-Class range. This is kind of expected since the main rivals at BMW and Audi already have such a vehicle in their fleets.

In 2019 we will witness the launch of the Mercedes A-Class coupe, roadster and shooting brake variants. The first two will be targeting the same market as the Audi TT does. The shooting brake however, will be destined only for the European market.  Well, it will be pretty nice to see all these body styles in the A-Class fleet. They need to be appealing and impressive for the public.
