Infiniti Q50L soon to be revealed

Infiniti, the luxury vehicle division of the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan, began its activity in selling vehicles in 1989 in North America. The company’s target was to create a new performance luxury brand capable of competing with the big U.S. and European luxury brands in the American market. Now, the luxurious brand is about to introduce the facelift Infiniti Q50L. The big event will take place at the Chengdu Motor Show which begins at the end of the month.

The long wheelbase version of the Infiniti Q50 is only destined for the Chinese market and is 100% created in China. It will be 48mm (19”) longer than the standard model having an overall length of 4852mm (191”) and wheelbase stretched to 2898mm (114”). It will be powered by a newly developed 2.0-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine that develops 208hp and 320Nm of torque. This will be linked to a 7-speed automatic transmission system featuring a manual shift mode.

The Infiniti Q50L will also feature a new steer-by-wire Direct Adaptive Steering (DAS) system, Infiniti's touch-screen InTouch HCI system, Active Lane Control (ALC) and a 14-speaker Studio on Wheels audio system by Bose. As we said, the Q50L is only destined for the Chinese market. However, the Q70L will be present on the European and North American markets.
