Subaru WRX S4 ready for Japan

Subaru, the automobile manufacturing division on the Japanese company Fuji Heavy Industries, is famous worldwide for using the boxer engine layout in most of its vehicles above 1500 cc and also for the use of all wheel drive train layout which have become the standard equipment for the Subaru cars. Now the company has just taken the veil off the Subaru WRX S4 which will be sold only in Japan.

The Subaru WRX S4 features brand 18-inch alloy wheels which promise to be more rigid and lighter. It is also equipped with prominent front spoiler lip, LED daytime running light bars along with carbon fiber-like finish on the dashboard and other similar minor elements such as red stitching, piano black finishes and metallic accents.

The Subaru WRX S4 is powered by the four-cylinder, 2.0-liter direct-injection turbocharged engine which produces 300 PS (221 kW) at 5,600 rpm and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) between 2,000 rpm and 4,800 rpm. The engine works linked to a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) with fully automatic electronic control. The Japan destined Subaru also features Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system with Variable Torque Distribution technology. Customers can already order the JDM Subaru WRX S4 at any Subaru dealership in Japan.
