Volkswagen Transporter imagined

The automobile field is one with millions of fans worldwide and this is a sure thing. Well, we can divide these fans into two categories, the ones who just admire the latest vehicles wondering where the concept idea came and the ones who not only analyze the existing cars but also use their imagination to design the way next models could possibly look like. X-Tomi Design is a firm that, as the name suggests, is interested in designing cars. They have just imagined how the next generation Volkswagen Transporter could look like.

The designers from Hungary took as a starting point the Tristar Concept which was recently introduced.  There are not too many details known by the public about the future Transporter. However, it is very possible that the engine lineup will include a 2.0-liter petrol unit developing 224 HP (165 kW) and a 2.0-liter diesel producing 231 HP (170 kW). Front-wheel drive will be standard, but all-wheel drive could be offered optional.

The Volkswagen Tristar Concept is powered by a 2.0-liter TDI engine that generates 201 bhp (150 kW) and 450 Nm (331 lb-ft). Power is delivered to a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system via a 7-speed DSG transmission. Well, for now, study carefully these renders and keep them in mind for the moment of truth, when the next generation Transporter will be revealed.
