Chevrolet strikes Sao Paulo Show with four concepts

The Sao Paulo Auto Show is currently on the run and a lot of important names are exhibiting their latest projects and vehicles there. Among them we have Chevrolet, the brand of vehicles produced under General Motors mother-company. The Chevrolet name has expanded a lot, Chevrolet-branded cars being present in most automotive markets worldwide, with plenty of success. Well, here we are facing four brand new concepts of the company.

The first concept to be introduced is the Chevrolet S10 High Country. It features a Red Chili exterior painting with additional chrome trim and a special set of 18-inch alloy wheels. The truck has also been fitted with an aerodynamic rear hoop and an upgraded interior that consists of Brownstone leather seats and gloss black trim. The second concept is the Onix Track Day. It was specially designed to appeal to enthusiasts so it is characterized by an aerodynamic body kit that consists of front and rear spoilers as well as revised side skirts. The car also features sport seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and five-spoke alloy wheels. The Onix is powered by a 1.8-liter Ecotec engine that is helped by a high-flow air filter, a stainless steel sports exhaust system and an optimized ECU. The engine develops more than 150 bhp (112 kW).

The third concept introduced in Sao Paulo is the Chevrolet Onix Effect. The vehicle adopts a more restrained body kit, tinted lighting units and dark 15-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there's a flat-bottomed steering wheel, cloth or leather seats and satin red accents. Although it should be rather sporty, power is provided by a 1.4-liter engine that develops 106 bhp (79 kW), so in this case sporty doesn’t mean fast. The fourth and final concept is the Chevrolet Cobalt. This one is nothing else but a slightly updated Cobalt. The things that differentiate it from the production Cobalt are a unique interior and special 16-inch alloys.
