Koenigsegg One gets right hand drive configuration

The philosophy at the Swedish company Koenigsegg is one focused only on performance. Each and every detail of a Koenigsegg car is measured against the company’s continuing aim: to enhance vehicle performance. This is reflected in everything they do. Nothing is insignificant. Every aspect of the development process targets performance. A high performance vehicle clearly is the Koenigsegg One:1, the supercar which has had its public debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

The Koenigsegg One will come as a limited edition, very limited to say, as only 9 units will be manufactured and this includes the prototype, too. Well, among these 9 vehicles only one will benefit of a right hand drive configuration. It will be a unique vehicle not only because of its inside layout but also for some other features such as the combination of clear and blue tinted carbon with triple layered pearlescent white stripes. Deliveries will begin in spring via SuperVettura, the official Koenigsegg dealer.

As we already know, the Koenigsegg One is powered by a twin-turbo V8 5.0-liter engine developing 1,341 HP (1,000 KW) and 1,371 Nm (1,011 lb-ft) of torque. These figures give the car the title of the world's fastest homologated production car. The super vehicle will be able to reach a top speed of 273 mph (440 km/h). Being faster than any other fast car, it is expected that it will have a surprisingly huge price tag.
