Opel Adam S gets priced

Opel is one of the most technologically advanced automobile manufacturers in Europe. They have a quite long and rich history. The company is shaped by the staff’s passion for cars. The focus is on making journeys more efficient, comfortable and enjoyable. Not long ago, the Opel officials have just introduced a production version of the Opel Adam S which has already had its official debut at the Paris Motor Show this year. Here we are back with some news about the price of the small vehicle.

The Opel Adam S is the top ranged version of the Adam model and its price in Germany, its homeland, begins at €18,690 (including VAT). The small but impressive vehicle is powered by a four-cylinder 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that generates 150 HP (110 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to the front axle through a six-speed manual transmission. This configuration enables the Adam S to do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 8.5 seconds and it needs 7.9 seconds to go from 50 to 75 mph (80 to 120 km/h) before hitting a maximum speed of 130 mph (210 km/h).

The Opel Adam S also features an updated steering system, beefier brakes, sport-tuned suspension and an optional set of 18-inch Typhoon alloy wheels matched with red brake calipers. For some extra €1,300 the client can also get sport pedals and a set of front Recaro sport seats. Deliveries will begin at the beginning of 2015. However, those interested in buying the stylish vehicle can place an order to the dealerships in Germany.
