Volvo V60 Cross Country introduced in L.A.

Volvo creates and sells products and services which have as a target the high quality, safety and environmental care. Founded more than 80 years ago, a solid position and reputation in the whole world has been built up step by step in time. Volvo went through many age changes, and increased number of fans. Now, the Swedish company has just revealed the Volvo V60 Cross Country at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Volvo V60 Cross Country is equipped with 18-inch and 19-inch alloy wheels with high profile rubbers, providing comfort, off-road aesthetics and reducing road noise. The vehicle also has an increased ground clearance of 65 mm compared to the regular Volvo V60. The crossover will be officially launched in North America at the beginning of January 2015. The pricing begins at $41,000 (32,700 EUR).

The Volvo V60 Cross Country is powered by the usual five-cylinder 250 bhp (186 kW) gasoline engine. This will work linked to an automatic transmission, delivering a pretty competitive 23 mpg (12.3 liters per 100 km). In 2015 the Drive-E four-cylinder petrol engines will also be available for the front-wheel-drive variant, while the five-cylinder D4 powertrain will generate the power for the all-wheel-drive versions.
