Ariel Nomad presented

Ariel Motor Company prides with the quality they can achieve through the products they manufacture. At Ariel it's not just about the cars, it's about the people too: the people that design and build the vehicles and the people that drive them. Behind the steering wheel of an Ariel you're part of something very special. The Ariel Nomad is the latest invention they pride with.

The Ariel Nomad is inspired by the more famous Atom model. It has all the necessary qualities to be a pretty good off-roader.  It has an increased ground clearance, long-travel suspension, sporty rubbers and chassis tricks. It also features extra rollover protection and larger alloy wheels. The sporty vehicle weights only 670 Kg (1,477 lbs).

The Ariel Nomad is powered by a Honda-sourced 4-cylinder 2.4-liter engine outputting 235 bhp (175 kW) at 7,200 rpm and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) at 4,300 rpm sent to the wheels through a six-speed close-ratio gearbox. This setup enables the car to sprint the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) distance in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 125 mph (201 km/h). The vehicle will be priced from £27,500.
