We’ve heard a lot of news coming from Mercedes-Benz lately. The Germans seem pretty addicted to work and they constantly try to impress the audience. The company has just announced some upgrades for their E-Class fleet.
Mercedes-Benz will use a new internet-enabled infotainment system including GPS navigation, providing convenient use of the versatile options afforded by modern communications technology. This late generation system offers a 4G wireless broadband internet connection with download speeds of up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 75 Mbps. This download speed will allow the passengers to use a video chat, a high-definition radio and mobile TV functions.
The officials at Mercedes also said that the E-Class will be available in the new E 220 BlueTEC 4MATIC modification. The manufacturer didn’t offer too many details but admitted that the model will be powered by a diesel engine outputting 170 HP (125 kW) and 400 Nm. Hopefully, we will have more details soon.
