Opel Corsa gets 1.4 Turbo

Opel Corsa is a pretty appreciated small car, perfectly suited for the everyday life of a crowded city. Well, Opel has just announced a new engine type for their Corsa. And we are talking here about the 1.4 Turbo engine.

As you have already guessed, the Opel Corsa is equipped with a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 150 PS (110 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque.  This works linked to a six-speed transmission which allows the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 207 km/h (128 mph).  When it comes down to fuel efficiency, the car returns 5.9L/100km (39.8 mpg US / 47.8 mpg UK) and has CO2 emissions of 136 g/km.

The Opel Corsa 1.4 Turbo will be available as a three and as a five door hatchback. The price set for the model begins at €17,380 in Germany.  Customers can also benefit of an optional Turbo Plus Package that includes front and rear spoilers, updated side skirts and faux carbon fiber mirror caps but some other elements, too. This engine version certainly offers sportiness and everyday suitability at an attractive price.
