Mercedes-Benz A1 facelift ready in July

News keeps coming from Germany. Hard-working guys those Germans. Mercedes-Benz is now in the center of novelties, with their Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift, which should be ready to go by this July. The smallest Mercedes branded vehicle received a few cosmetic tricks, but very subtle ones. Still, we are in front of a so called facelift.

The major modifications appear under the hood of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift. The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine has been upgraded so that now it outputs 380 PS (280 kW). The additional estimated 20 PS (15 kW) will enable Mercedes-Benz to get back the power title from Audi as their RS3 Sportback with 367 PS (270 kW) managed to dethrone Daimler's model in the horsepower battle of compact hatchbacks.

The Mercedes-Benz A1 facelift will feature optional LED headlights which will replace the bi-xenon ones, updated infotainment system with Wi-Fi hotspot support, LED ambient lighting, revised safety and assistance systems and other minor changes. The facelift version of the small hatchback will be available on the market starting July and deliveries will begin in September. But until then, hopefully, we’ll get back with some more details.
