Honda Shuttle detailed

Honda has finally decided to offer more details about the 2015 Honda Shuttle, specially designed for the Japanese market. The vehicle is nothing else but the wagon version of the Honda Jazz/Fit. The car features a longer rear overhang that adds some extra cargo capacity compared to the standard small vehicle which provides 354 liters with rear seats up and 884 liters after folding them down. With the seats up the Shuttle should provide more than 500 liters of room considering that massive rear end.

The range-topping Honda Shuttle is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, Honda smart key system, cruise control, navigation and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. It also gets LED technology in lighting clusters, heated front seats, roof rails, fog lights and wood trim on the doors and dashboard.

The Honda Shuttle is powered by an AWD hybrid setup made of a 1.5-liter Atkinson-cycle engine that is mated to an electric motor, a lithium-ion battery and a dual-clutch gearbox. In the Jazz/Fit regular version, this hardware configuration allows the model to do 36.4 km/l (85.6 mpg US / 102.8 mpg UK or 2.7 liters / 100 km). A regular version with a 1.5-liter engine and a front-wheel drive layout will also enter the Japanese market.
