Skoda Snowman prepared for debut

Skoda is among the most famous European car manufacturers. And their slogan “simply clever” definitely illustrates their every vehicle. The Czech manufacturer is currently preparing a new SUV, which rumours say will be called “Snowman” or “Polar”. Both names lead us to the cold weather, when an SUV clearly shows its efficiency.

The future Skoda Snowman will be built on an adaptation of the MQB B platform of the new Superb. As for the design, it will resemble with the upcoming Superb Combi. It will be 4.6 meters long. The stock version will have five seats but for some extra money an extra two rear seats can be set inside the car, specially created only for children.

The new Skoda Snowman will feature a front-wheel drive layout as standard on the low-range versions and the more expensive ones with beefier engines will come with an AWD configuration. The SUV will have to offer class-leading space just like most of the other models, as well as a full-size spare wheel, great towing capacity and plenty of off-road capability. The next Geneva Motor Show should guest the official debut of the Skoda SUV.
