Fiat Aegea revealed

The Istanbul Motor Show is the biggest auto event taking place at the moment. One of the stars in Turkey is the new Fiat Aegea compact sedan. This is the successor for the already old Linea. It looks quite nice and more refined than its older relative. The vehicle was designed in Italy but manufactured in Turkey, so it’s no surprise that the officials have chosen the official debut to be in Istanbul. The Bursa factory will be the place from where all the Aegea models will be delivered to over 40 destination countries.

The 2015 Fiat Aegea is 4.5 meters long, 1.78 meters wide and 1.48 meters tall, having a 2.64 meter wheelbase and a pretty large trunk that can host up to 510 liters. It will come with two gasoline engines and two MultiJet II turbodiesel ones. Their figures vary from 95 PS (70 kW) to 120 PS (88 kW). Depending on the engine, either a manual or an automatic transmission will be available. The most economical version will consume less than 4 liters / 100 km (58.8 mpg US or 70 mpg UK).

The 2015 Fiat Aegea features a lot of goodies, such as a Uconnect infotainment system with a 5-inch color touchscreen display providing support for TomTom satellite navigation, handsfree Bluetooth, audio streaming, text reader, voice recognition and connectivity options like USB, AUX and iPod, as well as steering wheel-mounted controls and even a rearview camera. Deliveries will start this November in Turkey.
