BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage introduced

BMW has just introduced a new concept on the occasion of Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. It is called the BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage and it is a tribute paid to the legend 3.0 CSL. There are not too many details offered by the manufacturer, but it is said that the concept is powered by a powerful six-cylinder in-line engine with eBoost technology.

The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage concept features an aggressive front fascia with a modern reinterpretation of the earlier car’s highly distinctive shark nose.  The awesome car is equipped with a carbon fiber front splitter and a prominent twin kidney grille that is flanked by slender laser light LED headlights. At the back, muscular fenders, carbon fiber side skirts and small rearview cameras that act as mirrors can be noticed.  The model also features roof and tail spoilers, LED taillights, a CFRP diffuser and a set of 21-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, the BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage concept has two lightweight sport seats with contrast stitching and six-point harnesses, as well as a minimalist instrument cluster, a unique steering wheel and alloy pedals.  Other notable elements are a carbon fiber roll cage and an integrated fire extinguishing system. The concept car looks great!
