Front wheel drive Seat Tarraco will be available from now with an automatic transmission placed on the models equipped with the 1.5 liter TSI engines. The DSG transmission is the same as the one Seat is using on the 4Drive All Wheel Drive version respectively a 7-speed dual clutch one.
The power developed by the engine with this version of gearbox remains the same, 150PS and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. The driver can feel the most torque between 1500 and 3500 rpm. For this version of Tarraco Seat has announced a time of 9.5 seconds for 0-100 km/h acceleration which we must recognize is a very good time for an ordinary SUV. The maximum speed by which the new Seat Tarraco can run is 198 km/h. With these performances Seat CO2 emissions are of 180 g/km while the fuel consumption is 7.1/100k in the city and 8.00 l/100km outside.
FR trim is also announced to be launched at the beginning of the next year while for the moment Seat offer Style and Xcellence trims. The 7-seat version is also available for the ones who want to use this car as a family car.
In the second half of the next year a plug-in hybrid version is also set to make its debut. This new version should use and 1.4liter TSI engine which will offer 147HP and an electric motor which will develop 114 HP, so a total of 241 HP and 400Nm torque. The autonomy of the electric motor is of about 50 km.
