Suzuki Jimny is set to get competition from Jeep

Japanese car maker Suzuki is going to have a new rival for their Jimny model which is coming from the americans from Jeep. The new off-road model will be include below the Renegade model in the whole list of models produced.
Suzuky Jimny’s new competitor is going to be just a little bit longer with a length of near 4 meters when Jimny measures 3.64 m. This model is developed to be nice to drive day-by-day but the customers will also have the opportunity to drive the car in amazing off-roads trips.
Recently Jeep company made an announcement that all their cars will be electrified, starting from 2022 and perhaps the new model we are talking now will also have electric power, but this should be an provocation with this car which will be a small size and will need lot of power.
Just like a rumor the car will probably share the same Common Modular Platform architecture with the one from Peugeot 208, Vauxhall Corsa and DS3 Crossback, all being part of the PSA Group and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles joint.
Not many other things are known about the model, but we can be sure that if the car can have the same off-roads results as Wrangler model, than Suzuki Jimny popularity might decrease.
With this picture in front the ultra compact off-road car market is going to be very disputed and the consumers should have only benefits.
Even there aren't so many news, Marco Pigozzi is the person who made all this disclosures till now.
