GM Holden decided to export Global V6 engine to China. Two of its versions will be fitted in the new Buick Park Avenue that will be developed by Shanghai General Motors. This export program will worth several hundred million dollars to GM Holden over the next few years. The Park Avenue will use both the 3.6-liter V6 engine and a 2.8-liter V6. This is actually the first vehicle to go into production outside Australia using a global rear-wheel drive architecture developed by GM Holden.
