Jaguar offers new features inside and outside to the X-Type and also a new automatic transmission in the 2.2 diesel. This model is actually a combination of accessibility, versatility, luxury and choice within the Jaguar range.
For the first time in this model range, the new mode offers diesel power and automatic transmission and so the 2.2 diesel is matted to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The model will go on sale in the UK in March 2008 and in other European markets from April the same year.
The 2.2 diesel manual version is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 8.7 seconds and can reach a top speed of 134 mph. In the case of the 2.2 diesel automatic version, the car can reach 60 mph in 9.5 seconds and can speed up to 129 mph.
