The model will be built in Chicago at the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant and will arrive in Lincoln showrooms next summer. It offers a suite of technologies and features not found on other luxury sedans. The Lincoln MKS is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine. The power-train has been derived from the proven 3.5-liter V6 found in the Lincoln MKX, the best engine for 2007. Anyway, the 3.7-liter is capable of delivering 270 horsepower and 265 lb. ft. of torque. All the power is being sent to the wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission, but that has the option to manually select gears.

The car is equipped with standard four-wheel disc brakes that are large and powerful and it also features anti-lock braking system and electronic brake force distribution. For safety the model offers outstanding occupant protection with a structure designed to absorb and dissipate crash energy before it can reach the reinforced passenger compartment.
Lincoln developed the Navigator, a full-size luxury SUV that delivers capability and functionality, but also it has several comfort and convenience features as standard equipment. In 2007 it won the Interior of The Year award for premium-priced trucks. When engineers redesigned the 2007 model, they added structure to the roof to reduce body boom. A stiffer chassis and a new body mounts were incorporated to further isolate road noise and vibration. The side mirrors were modified in order to reduce wind noise in the cabin and tire tread designs were optimized to minimize road noise. The engine is capable of developing 300 horsepower and 365 lb. ft. of torque.

Lincoln will reveal the new MKR concept at the North American International Auto Show next week. The model is powered by a 3.5-liter gasoline twin-turbocharged direct-injection V6 engine that is capable of developing 415 horsepower and 400 lb. ft. of torque on renewable ethanol. The engine is matted to a six-speed transmission and the concept features independent rear suspension for more refined road manners. From the rear, the coupe concept is instantly recognizable as a Lincoln because of the LED tail-lamps stretching from side to side. Inside, the new concept defines a new direction for modern luxury, with ambient lighting and contrasting colors and materials that offer both a new look and philosophy for future Lincoln interiors. The car sits on 21-inch chrome aluminum wheels fitted with unique Michelin tires that feature the Lincoln star in its tread.
The Lincoln design team wanted to maximize interior space. This is why its Continental has the cabin centered within the wheelbase. The passenger space is exceptionally large, the trunk is cavernous and it is powered by a 6.0-liters V12 engine. The body work is finished in a color called Silver Sea Spray. Its surfaces are clean and uninterrupted, and a strong horizontal emphasis defines the front of the car. The model features a signature Lincoln grille milled from aluminum that incorporates four round headlamps. These use a very light generator technology developed by Ford in collaboration with Philips Lighting. The light is generated by a single source and it is transferred to each lamp by fiber optic cable. The technology requires less power, but produces two and a half times more light.
Lincoln created the 2007 Town Car, a full-size sedan with a tradition of a smooth ride and incredible comfort. Like all Lincoln vehicles, this model comes as standard with complimentary maintenance for 12 months / 12.000 miles.
