2011 Honda CR-Z Sport Hybrid Coupe

Honda developed the 2011 CR-Z Sport Hybrid Coupe, a model that will go on sale in the US this summer at the American International Auto Show in Detroit. Under the hood it has a 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine with the lightweight Integrated Motor Assist hybrid-electric system. The futuristic interior styling offers a high-tech appearance and ergonomically intuitive controls. The car sends the output to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission, but also a Continuously Variable Transmission is available. The system delivers 122 horsepower and 128 lb. ft. of torque. The standard six-speed transmissions engineered for optimal acceleration performance in gears one through five and for optimal fuel economy in sixth gear.

The 2011 Ford Mustang makes sports coupe news with a new high-performance, all-aluminum Duratec 3.7-liter DOHC Ti-VCT V6 engine capable of developing 305 horsepower. All the output is being transferred to the wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. This engine promises to use advanced technology to deliver both power and fuel economy. Ti-VTC is complemented by special-tuned composite upper and lower intake manifolds for efficient air delivery and lighter weight. Ignition power is delivered by a high-energy coil-on-plug design, while piston-cooling jets and a lightweight die-cast aluminum block improve the durability and efficiency of the 3.7-liter V6 design. The model will be built in Michigan and the engine in Cleveland.
