The Ford Shelby GT500 is now on good hands. The US car specialists from GeigerCars.de have prepared a special treatment for the model. The 5.4-liter 8-cylinder V engine is capable of developing 810 PS and 945 Nm of torque now and the transmission was also reinforced. A 3 disc carbon clutch produces smooth power transmission. The amount of power it produces enables the car to reach a top speed of 354 km/h and to control this incredible output, the tuners also offered Geiger 6-piston brake calipers GT V6, brake hoses.
Ford developed for the Shelby GT500 a Special Vehicle Team Performance Package that increases the power by 10 horsepower in comparison with the standard model. Now, the 5.4-liter all-aluminum engine is capable of developing 550 horsepower and 510 lb. ft of torque. The engine is also 102 pounds lighter than its predecessor, delivering a better power-to-weight ratio, improved fuel economy, acceleration, handling and steering precision. This new advanced engine will exceed Ford GT performance with its traditional supercharger technology. The optional package also offers unique styling, lighter wheels, a higher rear axle ratio and stiffer springs, and it is available on both the convertible and coupe.
Shelby American will offer the GT350 to its lineup of American performance cars. Each car will be clad in traditional white with Shelby Guardsman blue Le Mans stripes and features the new Ford V8 coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission and center exit exhaust. The suspension was upgraded with new Ford Racing springs, struts, sway bars and adjustable camber plates. The car also receives a new front fascia, tail light trim, front splitter, rear deck lid filler panel and rear fascia. A limited number will be built in the 2011 model year and the manufacture suggested retail price is $33.995 and does not include the price of base car.

Shelby Automobiles, a company that manufactures and markets performance vehicles and related products unveiled a Super Snake Ford F150 concept at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The model has a base the Shelby GT500 Super Snake the post-title package for the 2003-2008 F150 upgrades the handling, the styling and the power of the truck. The car features a 5.4-liter engine that is capable of developing 475 horsepower that are being sent to the wheels through an automatic transmission. Also there were added 6-piston Shelby brakes to stop the beast and the suspension was lowered with 3-inches and tightened up to improve handling. Enthusiasts can choose to have the entire package applied to their truck for the ultimate Shelby. However, the styling and the power/handling upgrades can also be installed individually.

Shelby Automobiles revealed a new program to turn a limited number of 2010 Ford Shelby GT500s into Shelby super cars. The package is called Super Snake and it will include enhancements for the handling, styling and power. The output ratings will range from 630 horsepower to over 725 horsepower and 590 lb. ft. of torque. The Super Snake will be built as a limited edition at their facility in Las Vegas, starting August 2009. The power produced by the engine is being sent to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The price for the 630 horsepower package is $29.495 and for the 725 horsepower, $33.495, including installation, but not the car. Complete Super Snake packages will only be available through Shelby Automobiles.

Shelby Automobiles offered a limited edition Prudhomme Edition Super Snake package for the Shelby GT500 Mustang. To create this package, the carmaker had to pump up the 5.4-liter supercharged engine to produce 800 horsepower and also to offer a modified air intake, a five-point Impact safety harness and a Borla side exhaust system. A front and rear adjustable BMR racing suspension and drag tires are included to improve traction during launches. Also you should know that optional street tires are available. Only 100 total packages will be offered at $ 100,000 each, not including car. This Prudhomme Edition Shelby GT500 Super Snake is intended to be truly a road and track car. The program is a post-title package for 2007-2010 Ford Shelby GT500 cars already in the hands of owners.
The Ultimate Aero developed by Shelby Super Cars received several refinements for the 2009 model year. The SSC engineering team equipped the 2009 model with a 15% increase in horsepower, a revamped front fascia design and also offered multiple interior upgrades. With this new engine, the model will be able to reach world record speeds of 270 horsepower. The 2009 Ultimate Aero also introduces the Aero Brake TM, a rear spoiler system that deploys under braking situations. Carbon fiber accents run along the doorsills, surround the new gauge cluster and continue onto a revised steering column, which includes an analog speed-meter and tachometer with a sequential shift light integrated into the tachometer needle.
Four authentic Shelby 427 Cobras will compete in the races in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, starting July 17th 2008. This is actually the first factory race initiative from Shelby Autos and Ford Motor Company since 1969. The Kohler International Challenge is one of the largest vintage gatherings in the USA with over 30 classes of cars in ten groups. The event features vintage race cars that compete on Road America, the fastest permanent road course in the world.
As a celebration of 85 ears of existing, the carmaker will reproduce the three dominating Shelby American GT40 race cars. The top of the line includes the 427FE V8. The incredible braking performance is achieved through vented Wilwood super light brakes. On the inside it features original style seats with rivets and 4-point racing harness seat belts. A racing style dash features Smith gauges and the pedal box, quick-release 14-inch steering wheel, and dash accurately replicate the original. The model is powered by a 7.0-liter V8 motor, like the one found on the Corvette Z06. The power to weight ratio is 550 BHP/ton. The KC-427 is expected to be finished in around one year and it will be sold internationally. The Racer X design team is already known for both the GTV Evoluzione and the RCX, both of which won several awards both in design and construction. The first twenty people who show interest will be offered the opportunity to purchase the KC once the cars are ready.

With this amount of power, the engine allows the vehicle to accelerate and reach a top speed of 273 mph. It sounds like a really good job.
