Josh Byrnes, a car enthusiast, has recently released a well executed rendering of the upcoming 2013 Cadillac ATS, a vehicle also known as GMs first serious attempt to challenge the BMW 3-Series. The time could not be better as Cadillac is going to present the new ATS at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, which is planned to take place next Monday, on January 9. Last year, at the Detroit Auto Show, Cadillac revealed the XTS Concept. Apparently the carmaker decided to send it to production and will be revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The model will be built at General Motorss Oshawa plant in Ontario and the actual production will begin next spring. The latest reports from Cadillac executives inform that the four-cylinder engine has come to their attention, although in the past decade, the V6 came into vogue and traditionally, Cadillac buyers have been a V8-loving bunch.
