 This years Pikes Peak Hill Climb had as new entry the Dacia Duster No Limit. The car managed to get on the 3rd place in the Unlimited class, the most difficult category of the race. The only ones faster than the Duster were Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima who came on first and Rhys Millen who finished second. The driver of the No Limit was Jean-Philippe Dayraut who finished the circuit in 10 minutes and 17.707 seconds.The model was extremely modified.  Another segment of the Renaults low cost Dacia is currently under development, thus showing the French manufacturers objectives of expansion. A report from a French car journal, LAutomobile, announces that the Romanian carmaker intends to launch a seven seater MPV, which will be available next year, following the top of the line Duster soft roader.
