The Hennessey Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 was revealed

The 2012 model year Hennessey Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 was revealed today. This model is actually the most powerful version available on the market. This will be a limited edition as only 24 units of the SRT8 Gran Cherokee will be built. Each will cost $235.000. The model is powered by a 7.0-liter engine that has as base the 6.4-liter HEMI. Because of its twin-turbo system, its new engine will deliver 805 BHP at 5.800 rpm and 823 lb. ft. of torque. The car is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.1 seconds. Hennessey Performance unveiled today the Venom GT sports car based on the Lotus Elise. The Venom GT combines a high-tech, lightweight British chassis with a powerful American V8. It will be limited to ust 10 vehicles per year and the company already has orders for 4 Venom GTs.
