Soon, the 2012 Chicago Auto Show will open its doors. Volkswagen is waiting for that moment as it wants to introduce the most fuel-efficient version of the new Beetle in the US. The model will be powered by a 2.0-liter TDI, 4-cylinder diesel engine that will produce 140 horsepower and 236 lb. ft. of torque. The North American Jetta and Passat TDI have the same power-plant. The power will be transferred to the wheels either via a six-speed manual gearbox or via VWs dual-clutch DSG six-speed automatic transmission. A potential problem with the brake master cylinder reservoir cap, which is in danger of breaking and leaking brake fluid, has caused Mazdas U.S. arm to issue a recall that concerns no more than 52,390 Tribute SUVs from the 2001 and 2002 model years. The vehicles were manufactured from April 20, 2000, through July 19, 2002. Mazda informed in a note to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that if the fluid leaked and was exposed to the antilock brake systems module wiring harness connector, it might lead to its corrosion and thus cause a melting, smoking or even fire. ...... >> Read more

The Jaguar XJ220 that was built between 1992 and 1994 is celebration 20 years of life. The model is one of the fastest ever built being able to reach a top speed of 217 mph. The project started out of passion and the group was called "The Saturday Club". They used to meet after-hours and on weekends to work.
