With Audi revealing its all-new RS6 Sedan and A4 Sedan and the Avant in Frankfurt this week, we tend to let more modest models with less attention. But the spy photographers never miss a thing. They captured the first pictures of the A4 Avant in Germany out for tests.

The Audi display won’t be shared with the A4 Sedan this week, but the Avant will be available in 2008 in the summer. The Verve concept auto by Ford destined for the Frankfurt Motor Show next week shows hints of the new design theme for a host of future Ford vehicles, first being the substitution for the Fiesta hatch, which by chance, the new name could be the Verve. The actual production of Ford autos in a design studio have been spotted by the spy photographers - sporting a very alike glasshouse into the concept vehicle as well as the streamlined profile and clear-lens taillights.

Toyota`s top executive in the US, Jim Press, has been named vice chairman and co-president of Chrysler. Press who has worked 37 years for Toyota, is now the first non-Japanese executive in the Toyota`s board of directors. The position will be shared with Tom LaSorda.

Automotive News says LaSorda`s responsibility will be for manufacturing and suppliers, meanwhile Press will be responsible in the sales and marketing department. Both will be reporting to Bob Nardelli, Chrysler`s CEO.


Only last month Lexus marketing vice president – Deborah Wahl Meyer was hired by Chrysler as its chief marketing officer.
