Chevrolet 2004 Blaupunkt EVIL Z24 Tuning Sound

The 2004 Chevrolet Blaupunkt EVIL Z24 Tuning Sound is a project car which is going to be displayed at autosound contests and auto shows. The founder of Team GMCI Racing, Bob Mull, ownes the Evil Z24 which represents an ultra-custom 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24. A wide array of aftermarket performance accessories together with Blaupunkt's latest generation of audio and video products, are showcased by the customized vehicle. George R. Velez, Blaupunkt's marketing manager, stated that the Evil Z24 featured enough video and audio equipment for a small apartment complex and Mull had created a unique showcase for Blaupunkt's installation-friendly components by squeezing it all into a sport compact. Using over three miles of Stinger wires to complete the installation, the system comprises a total of 18 channels of amplification, 29 video monitors, four 12-inch subwoofers and five sets of component speakers. The Evil Z24 boasts to be one of the most successful show cars in the country and the engineers completely striped and rebuilt for the 2004 Season in only six weeks with the debut made in January at the 2004 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, after the metamorphosis was complete. The show represents one of the world's largest trade shows and it was a good opportunity for the car to win the Best of Show People's Choice Award prize from Car, Sound and Performance Magazine. Another important and impressive performance feature of the car is an external laptop which is used for demonstrations at car shows, employing a unique computer program written by Sound Decision aiming to control 52 different motorized functions and accessories. Brian Colwell and his two sons, Matt and Bobby of J.C. Customs paint and Body, did the great work of the Evil Z's flashy new green and yellow paint scheme as well as body fabrication. The engine was also remodified with a 20G Turbo System, JE pistons, Crower connecting rods and a custom intercooler and Venom fuel rail, adding to the car's level of performance. The special appearance of the car is also enhanced by the 19 X 7-1/2 Hex-1 three-piece rims from R-1 Racing Wheels sported with Toyo Proxes T1 racing tires and 12-inch slotted rotors with four-piston caliper.
