Holden developed the Thunder special edition with new features that are available on S Ute, SS Ute and SS Crewman by April in Holden dealerships. Under the hood hide Gen 4 V8 engines capable of delivering 260 kW and 510 Nm of torque. They run on 18-inch wheels and are available in different exterior finishes. The prices vary between $33.990 for the S Ute manual and $34.990 for the automatic one. $42.490 is the price for the Thunder SS Ute manual and automatic and $48.690 you must pay for the Thunder SS Crewman manual and automatic.

The Thunder SS models are powered by Holden’s new Gen 4 V8 engine which delivers 260kW of peak power at 5600rpm and 510Nm of peak torque at 4400rpm. The Thunder S Ute boasts the advanced 172kW Alloytec V6 engine made at Holden’s Port Melbourne engine plant.
