Honda Civic 1.8G Japanese Version

The 2006 Honda Civic 1.8G Japanese version represents a new generation of fine midsize sedans, taking both spirited performance and fuel economy to new levels. Its improvements relate to driving performance, packaging and environmental friendliness, being designed and developed to surround its occupants with high-quality materials and providing a ride that will undoubtedly be appreciated and enjoyed. Its newly developed 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine combines off-the-line acceleration with a 2.0-liter engine, featuring a fuel economy equivalent to that delivered by a 1.5-liter engine, achieved while cruising, for category-leading1 fuel economy of 17 km/l2, obtaining greater energy efficiency. A newly developed dynamic regenerative braking system regulates brake assist volume during braking based on the amount of brake regeneration. The spacious interior is provided by the 1,750mm4-wide body and 2,700mm- long wheelbase, thus offering its occupants an expansive feeling. The engineers completely redesigned the driver's interface in order to improve both visibility and operability, while the use of a large, digital display for the speedometer for improved readability, limits the number of gauges. The advanced safety technologies considerably reduce the burden on the driver, integrating Intelligent Highway Cruise Control and Collision Mitigation Brake System. The engine produces a power output of 140 PS and 174 Nm of torque, achieving outstanding emissions performance, with emission levels 75% below 2005 Japanese government standards. The five-speed automatic transmission produces both superior fuel economy and powerful acceleration. It is significantly more compact as compared to the previous Civic, due to its innovations that include three-shaft parallel construction, an ultra-thin torque converter and common driven gear for 4th and 5th gears. Emphasizing its aerodynamic qualities, the Honda Civic Hybrid incorporates highly aerodynamic, custom-designed, lightweight aluminum wheels, front air spoiler, and trunk spoiler11. The smoother ride is ensured by the wide stance which contributes to improved drivability.
