Honda Mugen Civic Si Sedan

The 2007 Honda Mugen Civic Si Sedan represents a prototype that was unveiled at the 2006 SEMA show, showing impressive features, such as forged aluminum wheels, a high performance suspension as well as a sport exhaust system and an aerodynamic body styling. John Mendel, senior vice president of American Honda, commented that enthusiasts had associated the name MUGEN with JDM Honda performance for decades and the unveiling of the Civic Si Sedan had brought the two companies together again, thus providing the ultimate level of performance, quality and refinement. The engineers tested the track tuned suspension at the Twin Ring Motegi racing circuit in Japan, lowering the vehicle by 0.6 inches, while the handling performance was enhanced due to the aggressive spring and damper tuning, without compromising the high level of ride comfort. The full-vehicle aero-package comprises a front spoiler with a sports grille, a rear wing, a rear bumper diffuser and side spoilers. The interior shows a serial number placard placed on the instrument panel as well as a spherical 50 mm MUGEN shift knob. MUGEN is well known for its collaboration with Honda in the manufacture and design of racing and premium aftermarket performance products.
