A year ago, Lamborghini introduced the 350 GT that is actually the production version of the 350 GTV. The carmaker offered a few new elements, but it also kept a few of the old ones. For example, it uses the same independent suspension, aluminum body and the 3.5-liter V12 engine that was built by Bizzarrini. The modifications in the appearance of the car include the change from the pop-up to fixed headlights and smoother looking body panels. This is not all. The chassis of the model was also changed from the GTV. The output was reduced to make this car more a touring car than a race car. The Italian carmaker built around 120 350 GT models. The first public appearance happened in 1964 at the Geneva Motor Show.
