Maserati revealed its GranSport Contemporary Classic model at the 2006 Paris Motor Show. Its style is a combination between excellent handling with top level comfort. The model features exterior equipment that includes 19-inch ball-polished wheel rims. The interior has as inspiration the body and the carmaker tried to make it spectacular, but without being excessive. With it equipment the car is more elegant thanks to the full leather interior with special piping around the seats and dashboard. This is not all. The model also features light blue instruments with a vintage look and a full leather steering wheel. There were selected four exterior and interior colors for the GranSport Contemporary Classic.

At the 2006 Paris Motor Show was unveiled the new Maserati Grandsport Contemporary Classic, which name was inspired by the car’s italian design and style which has become an instant classic.

The style combines excellent dynamic handling with top level comfort. The equipment for the Maserati GranSport gives this coupe a more exclusive look with echoes of a sporty past, a much loved past which has been forgotten with the technological evolution of design. This equipment remains faithful to the design trends of a classic brand whilst being born into an automotive world in which products are always developed as the results of performances and of mechanical evolution. The "Contemporary Classic" softly highlights what technology has to offer the customer, showing that the quality of the product is improved by the details, which help to make it more distinctive.

The equipment provides for 19", ball-polished wheel rims.

Interior

The interior was inspired by the body and try to stresses it further and make it more fashionable without being excessive.
With the "Contemporary Classic" equipment, the car`s pure elegance is underlined by a full leather interior with stylish piping around the seats and dashboard (suggested in the same color as the bodywork), and is combined with other chic touches, such as light blue instruments with a vintage look and a full leather steering wheel.
